June 7 F5J contest results 

The second really big F5J (E-Sailplane) contest was again the 
highlite of flying heroism this Saturday. Under a blazing,relentless 
sun the stalwart pilots showed the world what a ferrite brush 400 
can motor and an educated thumb can do to overcome the cruel forces 
of wind and gravity. Make your times,make the landing circle and 
finish in the money with a chance at the majestic perpetual trophy 
which has resided in a place of honor at Charlie Baumgartner's 
living room for the last year.

Because of his outstanding flying as a novice Hans Spiller was 
presented the 400 by Charlie in an emotional moment for all. 
Following the speed 400 event we had a fun fly launch of larger 
planes which will be expanded and scored at the next Electric
