5 July RES contest results 

The first round started with cloudy skies, cool temperatures and 
very little or no lift to be found. Fortunately conditions improved 
as the day progressed and many pilots were making the task times
without working quite as hard to find a thermal. A total of three 
rounds were flown with the now traditional lunch break for 
hamburgers and hot dogs.

The board of directors has ask that we increase the entry fee for 
each contest event flown by a pilot to $10, and we did. The $5 fee 
we've been using didn't cover the cost of trophies. Save your 
pennies :-)
